Planning
The Planning & Economic Development Department administers the Subdivision and Manufactured Home Parks Ordinances for the County and provides staff support for the Planning Board. These ordinances support and guide the proper subdivision and development of land within the jurisdiction of the county in order to promote the public health, safety and general welfare of the citizens. They are designed to promote the orderly development of the county and protect citizens and developers from misunderstandings.
